8:8. ராஜா ஆசகேலை நோக்கி: நீ உன் கையிலே ஒரு காணிக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, தேவனுடைய மனுஷனுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோய், நான் இந்த வியாதி நீங்கிப் பிழைப்பேனா என்று அவனைக் கொண்டு கர்த்தரிடத்தில் விசாரிக்கச் சொன்னான்.

8:8. பிறகு பெனாதாத் ஆசகேலிடம், "அன்பளிப்போடு போய் தேவமனிதரை (தீர்க்கதரிசி) சந்தி, நான் நோயிலிருந்து குணமடைவேனா என்று அவரை கர்த்தரிடம் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுமாறு கூறு" என்றான்.
